The college was inaugurated at the auspicious
hands of Hon'ble Shri Haribhau Pataskar, the then Vice
chancellor of University of Pune in the year 1969. For over 3 decades the college has time and again produced rank holders
in the University examinations. Almost every year students
from this college figure in the University Merit List of B. Ed.
and M. Ed. examinations. Though located in the rural area, the
college has given to society, excellent teachers who take up
teaching as a vocation. Eminent educationist, thinkers,
writers, artists etc. have visited the college to guide and
bless the students.
